Turn manual business processes into connected digital operations.
We design and build business applications, workflows, integrations and analytics using Microsoft Power Platform — helping organisations replace spreadsheets, email-driven processes and disconnected tools with solutions that are easier to use, manage and scale.
Start with the business problem — not the technology.
Power Platform is most valuable when an existing process needs to become easier, faster, more controlled or more visible. We help organisations identify where business applications, workflow automation, connected data and analytics can remove friction from day-to-day operations.
You may not need another large enterprise system.
Many operational problems sit between the systems an organisation already has. The ERP may hold transactions. The CRM may hold customer information. Microsoft 365 may handle communication and documents. What is often missing is a simple application and workflow layer that connects those systems and gives users an easier way to complete the work.
Replace Spreadsheet-driven Processes
Move business-critical tracking away from shared spreadsheets into structured applications with ownership, validation, workflow and controlled access.
Automate Approvals & Routine Work
Reduce manual follow-up by automating approvals, notifications, escalations, document movement and recurring process activities.
Extend ERP & CRM Processes
Give users focused applications around SAP, Dynamics 365 or other business systems without exposing the complexity of the underlying platform.
Improve Process Visibility
Bring status, ownership, SLA, exceptions and operational KPIs together so teams and managers can quickly understand where work stands.
Connect Disconnected Information
Bring together information from Microsoft 365, Dataverse, databases, APIs and enterprise systems into one usable business process.
Introduce AI Where It Adds Value
Use document processing, intelligent search, assistants and workflow agents where AI can genuinely reduce effort or improve the user experience.
What Epicarp can design, build and support.

Design and build applications for operational processes, service management, approvals, asset tracking, field activities, internal workflows and other business-specific requirements.
Workflow Automation & RPA
Automate approvals, notifications, escalations, document workflows, recurring tasks and repetitive desktop activities to reduce manual coordination and improve process consistency.
Dataverse & Application Data
Create structured business data models with tables, relationships, validation, security roles, audit capability and a foundation that can scale as the application grows.
System & Data Integration
Connect Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SAP, ERP systems, SQL databases, APIs and other business applications so information can move between systems without repeated manual entry.
Dashboards & Operational Analytics
Build dashboards that bring business KPIs, process status, SLA, exceptions and operational performance into clear views for teams, managers and decision-makers.
Copilot, Agents & AI Automation
Create intelligent assistants, workflow agents, document-processing solutions and AI-enabled experiences that connect directly to enterprise information and business processes.
The technology combination depends on the process.
A customer may need a Power App connected to SAP, a Dataverse workflow with approvals, a Power BI management dashboard, or an end-to-end solution combining all of them. We design around the business outcome first and select the Power Platform components that make sense.
A clear path from business problem to working solution.
We keep delivery structured and practical — understanding the process first, designing the right solution, building it iteratively and moving it into production with the controls needed for long-term business use.
Discover
Understand the process, users, current challenges, systems, data and the business outcome that needs to be achieved.
Design
Define the application experience, data model, workflow logic, integration approach and security structure.
Build & Validate
Develop iteratively and validate the complete business workflow with users before moving the solution into production.
Deploy & Improve
Deploy with the right environment controls, documentation and knowledge transfer, then continue improving as requirements evolve.
Governance, security and maintainability are built into every stage.
We consider environments, security roles, data access, deployment practices and application ownership throughout the delivery lifecycle — not only when the solution is ready to go live.

Understanding Microsoft Power Platform
01 What is Microsoft Power Platform and where can it help our business?
Microsoft Power Platform provides a connected set of tools for building business applications, automating workflows, managing business data and creating digital experiences.
It is particularly useful where teams depend on spreadsheets, emails, manual approvals, disconnected forms or repetitive administrative work.
02 How do we know whether Power Platform is suitable for our process?
We start with the business process rather than selecting a Power Platform product first.
Good opportunities often exist where work contains repeated manual steps, approvals, spreadsheet tracking, multiple handoffs, duplicate data entry or poor process visibility.
03 Do we need to replace our existing ERP or CRM to use Power Platform?
No. Power Platform is often most valuable when it works around and alongside the systems your organisation already uses.
For example, a Power App may provide a simpler operational interface while Power Automate moves information between the application, Microsoft 365, ERP, CRM or another system.
A Power Platform project does not automatically require replacement of existing core business systems.
04 Can we start with one process and expand later?
Yes. Starting with one meaningful business process is often a practical approach.
Once the solution is proven and adopted, additional workflows, applications, departments and integrations can be added progressively.
Building applications and workflows
05 What types of applications can be built with Power Apps?
Power Apps can support a wide range of internal and operational business scenarios.
Process tracking and work management.
Requests, tickets and field activities.
Structured business requests.
Equipment and inventory tracking.
Lead, order and customer processes.
Applications built around your workflow.
06 What is the difference between Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps?
Both are Power Apps technologies, but they are suited to different application needs.
Canvas Apps
Useful where the user experience, screen layout and interaction need more design flexibility.
Model-driven Apps
Useful for structured business processes built around Dataverse tables, relationships and roles.
The choice should depend on the process, users, data structure and experience required.
07 What can Power Automate help us automate?
Power Automate can help coordinate repetitive business activities across Microsoft and connected systems.
Approvals Route requests to the right people.
Notifications Alert users when action is required.
Data Movement Move information between systems.
Documents Generate or process business files.
Scheduled Work Run recurring operational tasks.
Exceptions Escalate delays or abnormal conditions.
08 Can Power Apps work on mobile devices and tablets?
Yes. Power Apps can support desktop, tablet and mobile business scenarios depending on the application design.
For frontline and field teams, applications can be designed around simplified mobile workflows such as inspections, approvals, updates, service requests or data capture.
Connecting processes and business data
09 Do we need Dataverse for every Power Platform application?
No. The appropriate data source depends on the application's requirements.
Some lightweight scenarios may use existing Microsoft 365 data sources, while more structured applications may benefit from Dataverse for relationships, security, business rules and scalable data management.
We do not recommend Dataverse simply because it is available.
10 Can Power Platform integrate with our ERP, CRM or other business systems?
Yes, where suitable integration methods are available. Power Platform can work with many Microsoft and third-party systems through connectors, APIs and other integration patterns.
Integration design should consider authentication, data ownership, transaction volume, error handling and supportability.
11 Can we continue using Excel or SharePoint as part of the solution?
Yes, in suitable scenarios. Existing Excel, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 investments can form part of a Power Platform solution.
However, if the process requires complex relationships, high transaction volumes, stronger application security or long-term scalability, a different data architecture may be more appropriate.
12 What if there is no standard connector for one of our systems?
Where the target system provides a suitable API or integration interface, a custom integration approach may be possible.
Before proceeding, we assess the available authentication method, API capability, transaction pattern, reliability requirements and how errors should be handled.
Building solutions that remain manageable
13 How do you manage security and user access in Power Platform?
Security should be designed according to the application's users, data and business responsibilities.
Who can access the solution?
What can each user perform?
What information may they access?
Where should the solution run?
For Dataverse-based solutions, role-based security can provide more granular control over business data and application functions.
14 Why do development, test and production environments matter?
Separating development and production helps reduce unnecessary change risk and provides a more controlled way to test improvements before they reach business users.
The level of environment separation should match the size, risk and importance of the solution.
15 How does Epicarp approach a Power Platform project?
We begin with the business process, users and desired outcome before deciding which Power Platform components are needed.
Environment controls, documentation, security, deployment practices and application ownership should be considered throughout the delivery lifecycle — not only at go-live.
16 Can Epicarp support and enhance the solution after go-live?
Yes. Business processes continue to evolve after an application goes live.
Ongoing support can include application improvements, workflow changes, new reports, additional integrations, security adjustments, troubleshooting and new business requirements.
Power Platform solutions designed around how your business works.
Our focus is not simply to build an application quickly. We look at the complete business process, the users, the data, the systems it needs to connect with and how the solution will be managed after it goes live.
Business-first Design
We start with the process, users and business outcome before deciding which Power Platform components are needed.
End-to-end Solution Thinking
Applications, workflow, data, integration and reporting are designed together as one connected solution.
Enterprise Integration
We design Power Platform solutions to work with the ERP, CRM, Microsoft 365, databases and APIs already supporting your operations.
